My Doggo

Cheeku

Cheeku, my incredible canine companion, has been the heartbeat of my home for a remarkable eight years. As a unique Pista breed, he brings a special charm to our lives. Beyond being a furry friend, Cheeku is a spirited playmate, making every day an adventure. His enthusiasm for fetching a ball or simply goofing around in the yard is contagious, infusing our surroundings with joy.

Cheeku’s presence transcends the typical pet-owner relationship; he’s a cherished member of our family. His unwavering loyalty and endearing nature create a bond that goes beyond words. He’s not just a good boy; he’s an embodiment of love and companionship. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to share these eight years of laughter, cuddles, and memorable moments with him. Cheeku’s playful spirit is a beacon of happiness, brightening even the gloomiest days. Here’s to many more years of adventures with my beloved Cheeku! 🐾❤️

Reflection on the process

Setting up Omeka Classic on my WordPress site was kinda tricky, but I figured it out. First, I made a subdomain. It wasn’t super hard, but I had to be careful with the database stuff to make sure everything connects smoothly with WordPress.

Then, I started playing with Omeka Classic features. I learned how to upload items and make show it as image by setting up imagemagick directory path. It was cool to see how you can show things online.

Picking photos for this week was fun. I chose pictures of my dog that fit the theme and told a good story. I wanted my post look interesting.

While exploring, I found a website using Omeka that’s pretty cool. [https://youtu.be/v0JuItFO_vI]. I liked how easy it was to use, and they showed how to setup Subdomain.

Using Omeka Classic taught me a lot about showing things online. It’s cool how you can make posts and share stories with pictures.
